Simultaneous Interpretation Technology

Difference between Infrared Audio (IR) and Radio Frequency (RF)

Both technologies are used for simultaneous interpretation, but they differ in their application and operation:

  • IR (Infrared) Technology:
    • Ideal for large audiences in closed venues.
    • Requires installation by a specialized technician and soundproof booths. It offers excellent sound quality and high confidentiality as the audio signal is contained within walls.
  • RF (Radio Frequency) Technology:
    • Ideal for small audiences on the go or outdoors.
    • It does not require complex installation and it is very easy for the user to operate.
